We thank Drs Smiseth and Nagueh for their interest in our recent publication testing the role of invasive and noninvasive diastolic stress testing in the evaluation of heart failure with preserved ejection fraction (HFpEF).1 The authors point out how the hemodynamic data collected in our study provides a unique opportunity to understand more about the determinants of exercise capacity in patients with HFpEF. We agree, and in fact we have published a different article from this cohort specifically devoted to that question.2
