We read with interest the study by Parkash et al1 evaluating the effect of aggressive blood pressure control on the recurrence of atrial fibrillation (AF) after catheter ablation, which demonstrated that the duration of aggressive blood pressure treatment did not reduce atrial arrhythmia recurrence after catheter ablation for AF but resulted in more hypotension. After reading this article carefully, we think the topic of this article is novel and of great clinical value. However, we would like to make the following points.
