I came across an article by Shi et al1 with an impressive large database of total anomalous pulmonary venous return cases. However, I have few comments and questions about the study:
Shi et al1 mention that in their study, emergency surgeries and neonatal surgeries were associated with higher mortality. Delay in diagnosis often leads to unwanted intervention and causes delay in transfer to the centers with pediatric cardiac care and surgery, and …
