We thank Jin-shan and Xue-bin for their interest in our case report1 and for addressing the mechanistic aspects of tachycardia-induced cardiomyopathy.
We examined the echocardiogram (ECG) tracings and found a relatively narrow QRS (resting and exercise ECG) and 1 wide QRS. The QRS duration was 100 ms and 110 ms, respectively, indicating incomplete left bundle branch block (LBBB),2,3 not true LBBB,4 and could not lead to dilated cardiomyopathy.
