We read the recent article by Cannon et al1 published in Circulation with great interest. In their study, Cannon et al1 demonstrated excellent long-term survival and maintenance of good functional status after pulmonary endarterectomy (PEA) in patients with chronic thromboembolic pulmonary hypertension based on analysis from the UK national cohort.
