In the article by Meredith et al, “Diabetes Mellitus and Prevention of Late Myocardial Infarction After Coronary Stenting in the Randomized Dual Antiplatelet Therapy Study,” which appeared in the May 3, 2016 issue of the journal (Circulation. 2016;133:1772–1782. DOI: 10.1161/CIRCULATIONAHA.115.016783), rates were erroneously reported in the Results section on page 1776 and should read as follows:
Impact of DM on Clinical Events
During the first 12 months after PCI, death (1.9% versus 1.0%), MI (4.0% versus 2.2%), stent thrombosis (0.8% versus 0.4%), stroke (1.3% versus 0.6%), and moderate or severe bleeding (3.3% versus 2.4%, all P≤0.001) rates were higher among enrolled patients with DM than in enrolled patients without DM, respectively.
The correction has been made to the current online version of the article, which is available at http://circ.ahajournals.org/content/133/18/1772.full.
