In the article by Weintraub et al, “ACCF/AHA 2011 Key Data Elements and Definitions of a Base Cardiovascular Vocabulary for Electronic Health Records: A Report of the American College of Cardiology Foundation/American Heart Association Task Force on Clinical Data Standards,” which published ahead of print on June 6, 2011, and appeared in the July 5, 2011, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2011;124:103–123), several corrections were needed.
On page 119, in the right column, under the American Heart Association staff, the entry for Jody Hundley read, “Jody Hundley, Production Manager, Scientific Publishing.” It should read, “Jody Hundley, Production Manager, Scientific Publishing, Office of Science Operations.”
On page 120, in the references, reference 34 read:
34. Myocardial infarction redefined: a consensus document of The Joint European Society of Cardiology/American College of Cardiology Committee for the redefinition of myocardial infarction. Eur Heart J. 2000;21:1502–13.
It should read:
34. Thygesen K, Alpert JS, White HD; Joint ESC/ACCF/AHA/WHF Task Force for the Redefinition of Myocardial Infarction. Universal definition of myocardial infarction. Circulation. 2007;116:2634–53.
On page 122, in Appendix 2 Reviewer Relationships With Industry and Other Entities, second row, second column, the entry read “Offical Reviewer—ACCF Board of Governors.” It should read “Official Reviewer—ACCF Board of Governors.”
These corrections have been made to the current online version of the article, which is available at http://circ.ahajournals.org/cgi/reprint/124/1/103.
