In the article by Wallis et al, “The ‘Sunshine Deficit’ and Cardiovascular Disease,” which appeared in the September 30, 2008, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2008;118:1476–1485), the following correction should be made:
On page 1482, in the first paragraph of Treatment Guidelines, the third sentence should read, “D2 and D3 are converted in vivo by the same enzymes and are effective in raising the concentration of 25(OH)D to goal, usually ranging from weekly to monthly.”
This change has been made to the current online version of the article. The authors regret the error.
