In the article, “Prognostic Value of Troponin T and I Among Asymptomatic Patients With End-Stage Renal Disease: A Meta-Analysis,” by Khan et al, which appeared in the November 15, 2005, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2005;112:3088–3096), the authors have identified two errors.
First, the label for the last column of Table 2 should read “99th Percentile” instead of “90th Percentile.”
The publisher regrets this error.
Second, reference 33 should be “Lowbeer C, Stenvinkel P, Pecoits-Filho R, Heimburger O, Lindholm B, Gustafsson SA, Seeberger A. Elevated cardiac troponin T in predialysis patients is associated with inflammation and predicts mortality. J Intern Med. 2003;253:153–160” instead of “Lowbeer C, Gutierrez A, Gustafsson SA, Norrman R, Hulting J, Seeberger A. Elevated cardiac troponin T in peritoneal dialysis patients is associated with CRP and predicts all-cause mortality and cardiac death. Nephrol Dial Transplant. 2002;17:2178–2183.”
The authors regret this error.
