Coronary Artery Aneurysm in Kawasaki's Disease

	Introduction

 
This figure shows transthoracic echocardiographic images in the parasternal short-axis view, just above the aortic valve leaflets. Panel A depicts images obtained from a normal 3-year-old boy. Panel B shows a large aneurysm of the left coronary artery in a 3-year-old boy who had Kawasaki's disease at 18 months of age and was treated with intravenous immune globulin on day 5 of his febrile illness. RA indicates right atrium; RV, right ventricle; AO, aorta; LCA, left coronary artery; R, right; and A, anterior.
