In the Rapid Track version of the article, "C-Reactive Protein Accelerates the Progression of Atherosclerosis in Apolipoprotein E–Deficient Mice" by Paul et al (Circulation. 2004;109:109:r43–r51), a footnote naming the article’s Guest Editor was inadvertently omitted. Beneath the authors’ institutional affiliations on the first page, the following footnote should have appeared: "Guest Editor for this article was Subodh Verma, Toronto General Hospital, Toronto, Canada." The print version of the article, which appeared in the February 10, 2004, issue of the journal, showed the correct footnote.
