In the AHA Scientific Statement "Sugar and Cardiovascular Disease: A Statement for Healthcare Professionals From the Committee on Nutrition of the Council on Nutrition, Physical Activity, and Metabolism of the American Heart Association" by Howard et al, which appeared in the July 23, 2002, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2002;106:523–527), an error appeared in Table 2.

TABLE 2. Nutritional Content of Low- and High-Sugar Diets

During the revisions of this paper, a row was deleted from Table 2, which repositioned the nutrient values up one row within the columns. Below is a corrected Table 2 reflecting the corrected nutrient values. We apologize for this error and hope it has not caused any inconvenience.
