The cover illustration (FigureDown) for the December 19/26, 2000 issue of Circulation was incorrectly attributed to Nelson et al (Circulation. 2000;102:3053–3059). It should have been attributed to Curry et al (Circulation. 2000;101:e2) and Nelson et al (Circulation. 2000;101:2703–2709).

Figure 1. This illustration represents the evolution of myocardial shortening (shown in blue) in a normal left ventricle (top) and in one from a patient with dilated cardiomyopathy (DCM) and left bundle branch block (LBBB; bottom). The distinct dyssynchrony in the onset of shortening in the patient with dilated cardiomyopathy is evident. These images of local myocardial shortening were created by computing the myocardial deformations from tagged MR images. The articles in which this technology was used were by Curry et al (Circulation. 2000;101:e2) and Nelson et al (Circulation. 2000;101:2703-2709).
