Correction

In the article, "Blood Pressure, C-Reactive Protein, and Risk of Future Cardiovascular Events" by Blake et al, which appeared in the December 16, 2003, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2003;108:2993–2999), an error appeared in the Results section. On page 2994, in the 7th and 8th lines of the Results, the text reads "...85 had nonischemic stroke...." It should say, "...85 had nonfatal ischemic stroke."

The authors regret this error.
