Correction

In the article, "Resistin Promotes Endothelial Cell Activation: Further Evidence of Adipokine-Endothelial Interaction" by Verma et al, which first appeared online as a Rapid Track (Circulation. 2003;108:r24–r28) and subsequently printed in the August 12, 2003, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2003;108:736–740), the source of human recombinant resistin was incorrect. On page 2 of the Rapid Track version and page 737 of the print version, under the heading Cell Culture, in the sentence, "HSVECs at passages 2 through 5 were incubated with purified human recombinant resistin (Phoenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc) for 24 hours at 10, 50, and 100 ng/mL, respectively," "Phoenix Pharmaceuticals, Inc" should be "Novus Biological."
