Data points of shortening fraction for individual mice are shown after coronary ligation and treatment groups are indicated. SDF-1α and thymosin β4 had comparable degrees of cardioprotection starting at 3 days after infarction, but enhancement was not observed with the combination of SDF-1α and thymosin β4.
