Correction

In the expert consensus document by McLaughlin et al, "ACCF/AHA 2009 Expert Consensus Document on Pulmonary Hypertension: A Report of the American College of Cardiology Foundation Task Force on Expert Consensus Documents and the American Heart Association," which published ahead of print on March 30, 2009, and appeared in the April 28, 2009, issue (Circulation. 2009;119:2250–2294), several corrections were needed.

On page 2272, in the second column, the paragraph under the heading "7.11. Ambrisentan," the 10th sentence read: "In ARIES-2 it was minus 22.2 m and plus 49.4 m for the 2.5- and 5-mg doses, respectively, . . . ." It was changed to read: "In ARIES-2 it was plus 22.2 m and plus 49.4 m for the 2.5- and 5-mg doses, respectively, . . . ." This change was made after the document published ahead of print. It is correct in the print issue.

Also on page 2272, in the second column, the paragraph under the heading "7.11. Ambrisentan," the next to last sentence read: "Other potential side effects include lower extremity edema, which is more frequent (29%) and severe in patients over 60 years of age, and nasal congestion.154" It was changed to read: "Other potential side effects include lower extremity edema, which is more frequent (29%) and severe in patients over 65 years of age, and nasal congestion.154" This change was made after the document published ahead of print. It is correct in the print issue.

On page 2279, in the first column, the first full paragraph, the last sentence read, "The guideline recommends . . . to be a 2a indication for surgery.193" It has been changed to read, "The guideline recommends . . . to be a IIa indication for surgery.193"
