Correction

In the ASA/AHA Guideline, "Guidelines for the Early Management of Adults With Ischemic Stroke: A Guideline From the American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Stroke Council, Clinical Cardiology Council, Cardiovascular Radiology and Intervention Council, and the Atherosclerotic Peripheral Vascular Disease and Quality of Care Outcomes in Research Interdisciplinary Working Groups," by Adams et al, which appeared in the May 22, 2007, issue of the journal (Circulation. 2007;115:e478–e534), the following changes are needed:

On page e485, in the last paragraph of the second column, the sentence "The states of Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, New Mexico, and Texas have laws or policies mandating that acute stroke patients be taken to the nearest stroke center" should read, "The states of Florida, New Jersey, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Mexico, New York, and Texas have laws or policies mandating that acute stroke patients be taken to the nearest stroke center."

On page e494, in the first sentence of the right column, "(Table 10)" should be deleted to read, "Pending more data, the consensus of the panel is that emergency administration of antihypertensive agents should be withheld unless the diastolic blood pressure is >120 mm Hg or unless the systolic blood pressure is >220 mm Hg."

These errors have been corrected in the current online version of the article.
