Issue Highlights
Circulation 115: 1503

Clarification

The highlight for the Biphasic Trial published in the March 12, 2007 issue is not meant to imply that subsequent biphasic shock energy should not be increased after failure of an initial 150 to 200 J shock. The 2005 AHA guidelines specify that higher energies may be used for subsequent shocks.
